- Select your QBXML file.
- Then click Open.
- Open QuickBooks Desktop.
- Access the No Company Open screen.
- Click Create a new company.
- On the What does creating a company file require? screen, select For myself.
- Then click Start Setup.
- Access the Sign-in screen.
- Go to the Sign in Later dropdown.
- Select In 2 days.
- Click OK.
- In the migration tool, click Import.
- Choose the file location, name the file, and click Save.
- Access the application certificate window.
